Bio

Daren is an award winning Production Designer who grew up in the small town of Vernon BC.

As the youngest of four children to Sandi Sasges, Daren found his place in a world of imagination and artistic expression. His first encounter with artistic leadership came at the very young age of 7 when he began teaching sculpture to elementary school classes in his district.

Daren furthered his creative education while attending multiple extracurricular art classes throughout his adolescence, covering a wide array of mediums. Following an interest in claymation Daren studied classical animation at the Gulf Island Film and Television School before moving to Vancouver in pursuit of a career in the Film Industry.

Daren is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School and now enjoys an established career utilizing all aspects of his artistic ability in service of story telling as a Production Designer and Director.

With over 20 years of Production Design experience, Daren has designed more than 50 productions, and has worked on an additional 50+ productions within the Art, Set Dec, Props and Animation departments.
